Floyd’s practice covers financial institutions with emphasis in the representation of banks and bank holding companies in acquisitions, mergers, sales, chartering and regulatory compliance, secured lending and loan work-outs.

In the real estate area, Floyd has also represented major regional shopping center, office and industrial building owners and/or developers from inception of the idea to final realization, including sales, acquisitions, leasing, financing and syndication.

Floyd has served in professional leadership positions in his areas of expertise and on the Board of Directors of several banks and bank holding companies during his career.

Floyd received his B.A., from Yale University in 1953. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1956.
