Tom Buranosky practices in the areas of real estate and secured lending. His work focuses on acquisitions and dispositions, mortgage lending and leasing matters for a range of clients including financial institutions, developers, corporations and real estate investors. Tom has closed transactions across the country ranging from downtown office towers to resort golf courses. His leasing work is divided among office, industrial and retail properties, and he represents corporate clients in their leasing endeavors on a national basis. On behalf of lenders and borrowers, he has structured, closed, securitized and defended loans. On behalf of banks and regulatory agencies, he has resolved nonperforming loans and handled complex workouts.
Tom received his B.A., cum laude, from Yale University in 1985. He received his J.D., from the University of Chicago in 1988. Prior to joining FHSLC, Tom was a partner at Drinker, Biddle & Reath, as successor to Gardner, Carton & Douglas.
