Martin is a founding partner with substantial experience representing clients in all matters of complex commercial litigation, including breach of contract, employment, fraud, real estate and trade secrets issues.
Mr. Carroll graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois in 1985 where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He received a Master of Arts degree from the London School of Economics in 1987 where he graduated second in his class. Mr. Carroll graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 1989.
In 2010 and 2007, Martin was designated as an “Illinois Super Lawyer” by the Law & Politics organization and Chicago Magazine, based in part on the views of other Illinois commercial litigation attorneys and a “blue ribbon” commission of leading attorneys in Illinois. Since 2005, Mr. Carroll has repeatedly been named a "Leading Lawyer" in commercial and banking litigation.
