Martin B. Carroll

Martin B. Carroll is an equity partner practicing in the areas of commercial and complex business litigation, including trade secrets, real estate, employment, and contract disputes.

Mr. Carroll has been selected as a “Leading Illinois Attorney” in commercial litigation and has published numerous articles involving trade secrets and non-compete agreements. Mr. Carroll serves as outside general counsel for a number of companies and has experience in representing clients in state and federal court and in arbitration in many areas of business litigation. He has also successfully argued many appeals at both the state and federal levels, including the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Mr. Carroll received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Carroll received his Master of Arts degree from the London School of Economics, graduating second in his class. He graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 1989.
