Michael is a capital partner practicing in the area of business transactions. He served on the staff of the Congressional Joint Tax Committee from 1965 to 1968. Michael has lectured at various seminars and published a number of articles on corporate and tax matters.

Michael received his B.A., high honors, from the University of Illinois in 1959. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1962. Prior to joining FHSLC, Michael was formerly a partner at Jenner & Block and at Adams, Fox, Adelstein, Rosen & Bell.
