Josh practices in the areas of commercial and complex business litigation. He handles a wide variety of cases, including disputes involving contract, employment, false advertising, trade secret, intellectual property, consumer protection, and franchise issues.
Josh has participated in a number of jury trials, most recently serving as lead counsel in a pro bono first-degree murder trial in the Chicago criminal court. Josh has practiced before Illinois state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels, as well as Minnesota, Delaware and Texas federal trial courts.
Josh received a B.A. from the University of Illinois in 1993. He received his M.S.J. from Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism in 1996. In 2002, Josh received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to joining the FHSLC, Josh was an associate at Winston & Strawn LLP. Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Goldberg worked as a newspaper reporter covering legal affairs for The Billings Gazette in Billings, Montana, and The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin in Chicago.
