Joseph
C. Huntzicker practices in the areas of real estate, secured
lending and business transactions.
Mr.
Huntzicker's real estate practice encompasses acquisition
and disposition of commercial, residential and industrial
property, as well as drafting and negotiation of office, retail
and other commercial leases. He represents property owners,
commercial lenders, borrowers, landlords and tenants.
Mr.
Huntzicker's secured lending practice concentrates on the
representation of lenders in connection with the negotiation,
documentation and closing of secured loans to a variety of
domestic and international companies. Mr. Huntzicker has broad
experience in all aspects of a loan's life cycle, including
structure origination, performing due diligence, drafting
and negotiating documentation, and on-going administration
prior to and after closing.
Mr.
Huntzicker's experience in business transactions includes
advising and assisting clients on matters involving entity
formation, governance, finance and general corporate matters.
Mr.
Huntzicker received his J.D., cum laude, in 2000 from the
University of Michigan Law School. He received a B.A., with
highest distinction, in 1996 from the University of Michigan,
where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
Prior
to joining Fox Hefter, Mr. Huntzicker was an associate with
the Detroit, Michigan office of Miller, Canfield, Paddock
and Stone, P.L.C. and with Goldberg, Kohn, Bell, Black, Rosenbloom
& Moritz, Ltd. He is admitted to practice in Illinois,
Michigan and California.
