Maria L. King

Maria L. King is an associate practicing in the areas of secured lending, real estate and business transactions.

Ms. King's secured lending practice has included representation of a number of institutional and entrepreneurial finance clients in a wide variety of cash-flow and asset-based lending transactions. She has worked on real estate transactions involving the acquisition or sale of residential and commercial property and has also assisted and advised clients on a variety of general corporate matters including formation, organization, governance and finance.

Ms. King earned her Bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from the University of North Dakota and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Prior to joining Fox, Hefter, she was an associate in the corporate finance department of Katten Muchin Rosenman. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and Minnesota.
