Liz Peterson is an associate in the Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors’ Rights Group at Fox, Hefter, Swibel, Levin & Carroll, LLP. She has experience representing and advising creditors in filing claims, claim disputes, preference litigation, and other bankruptcy litigation.
Liz received her A.B. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Brown University in 2003 and her M.A. in International Studies from Uppasla University in 2004. She received her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2007, where she was an Executive Notes and Projects Editor for the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy. While in law school, Liz also served as an extern for Judge MaryAnn L. Medler of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and as a research assistant for Professor John O. Haley. Prior to joining FHSLC in 2009, Liz was with Pedersen & Houpt in Chicago.
