Neville Reid is a bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors’ rights attorney with broad experience representing clients (including corporations, lenders, creditor committees and bankruptcy trustees) in all aspects of bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy workouts and restructuring transactions, commercial foreclosures, distressed asset acquisitions, lender liability cases and other insolvency-related litigation matters. In 2005 and 2006, Neville was designated an Illinois “Super Lawyer” by the Law & Politics organization and Chicago Magazine based in part on the views of other Illinois bankruptcy and insolvency attorneys and a “blue ribbon” commission of leading attorneys in Illinois. Neville is also part of a select group of bankruptcy specialists in Chicago who are appointed by bankruptcy judges to serve as bankruptcy trustees of various entities, including corporate debtors, from time to time.
Neville received his B.A. magna cum laude, from Harvard College in 1984. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1987. Prior to joining FHSLC, Neville was a partner at Mayer Brown.
