Donald P. Colleton Donald P. Colleton practices in the areas of corporate, trade association, intellectual property, commodity market development and managed health care law and business litigation. Mr. Colleton’s work with the beef, pork and egg industries, confection manufacturers and other corporate clientele has included complex contracting, IP licensing, trademark registration, trade association structuring and governance, advertising clearance, leasing and employment counseling. Mr. Colleton has had lead responsibility for negotiating and documenting the sale of businesses and the investment of capital in new ventures. He has extensive experience in discovery practice and federal and state trial and appellate court writing. Mr. Colleton received his undergraduate degree in 1964 from Georgetown University, his law degree in 1967 from New York University School of Law and served in the Domestic Peace Corps in the late 1960’s.
