Nancy Nagel

Ms. Nagel has significant experience in a variety of areas within the real estate industry including the acquisition, disposition, sales, construction, development, structuring and financing of a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, leasing (representing both landlords and specialty tenants), as well as experience with related matters of corporate and business law. She currently serves as outside general counsel for Hometown America, one of the largest national manufactured housing owners/operators in the U.S while also representing owners/developers of various other real estate assets including office and industrial buildings and regional shopping centers. In recent years, she has devoted extensive time to major real estate acquisitions and dispositions throughout the U.S. involving office buildings, industrial properties and manufactured housing communities as well as obtaining financing for various assets (many securitized).

Prior to joining FHSLC, Nancy served as in-house counsel at Bally Total Fitness (where she worked on both the health and fitness chain operator’s real estate, commercial leasing and property management as well as its affiliate’s casino transactions) and was part of a captive law firm representing Transwestern Investment Company and Hometown America whom she continues to represent.

Ms. Nagel graduated from the University of Michigan (B.A., High Distinction, 1984; J.D. 1987). Admitted in Illinois. Ms. Nagel is fluent in French.
