William J. Peltin

Bill represents clients in sophisticated financial and real estate transactions, most recently in his capacity as general counsel and principal of a national real estate development and advisory company and, prior to that, in his capacity as a partner at Gardner, Carton & Douglas. As a partner at Gardner, Carton, Mr. Peltin developed a broad-based practice in the areas of real estate and real estate finance (representing both lenders and borrowers).

As general counsel, he is responsible for all legal matters relating to the company's real estate development projects, including raising capital and structuring transactions, as well as acquiring, developing, financing and leasing the underlying properties.

Bill received his B.A., with honors, in business finance from the University of Illinois in 1984. He received his J.D. from Wisconsin Law School in 1987, where he was the Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review.
